This 2014 vintage Vega Sicilia red wine is incredible with power, depth and longevity. The purity, freshness and sheer class of this wine is magnificent.
It is expressive and has floral notes on the nose along with wild berries, herbs and a spicy and smoky touch that's nicely integrated. It has good complexity and nuance, and the palate is medium to full-bodied and intense, with pungent flavours and great length and persistence. Truly spectacular!
The tannins are silky smooth and present with definite grip on the finish yet with a corduroy texture to begin. This is a wine that will stand the test of time, there’s no question about it. It is absolutely delicious.
