Obtained from raisins in the sun, aged by the traditional system of soleras and criaderas. The grapes are delicately pressed to obtain a must with a high sugar content.
After harvesting, the grapes are placed on the ground to dry in the sun. The water in the grape evaporates and the sugar concentration increases. In this way, the PX offers a delicious base for a lovely, sweet and full-bodied sherry.
Intense ebony colour with very large tears and visual sensation of great intensity. The nose offers extremely rich aromas, with a predominance of sweet notes of dried fruits such as raisins, figs and dates, accompanied by aromas of honey and liquorice.
The palate is velvety and unctuous, with an acidity that mitigates the extreme sweetness and warmth of the alcohol, and a very long and tasty finish.
